OMG. That picture. I'm fat and drunk. I'd be a bit offended, but it sure looks just like me and I don't even remember that happening! I remember going to that brewery with you on that tour, but everything else is a wee bit foggy.

Everybody, thanks so much for the birthday wishes! We left beautiful Rockport, Texas this morning are are currently freezing in a nasty thunderstorm in BFE Arkansas. The best part of my birthday was running out of the motel in a downpour to get a great big helping of fried catfish and hushpuppies. I think I'm in a dry county, but it ain't dry in my motel room!

Just kidding, of course. Thank you for the reminder that I'm even closer to 50 now (48 today).

Bob asked me what I want to do for my birthday dinner, and I want my Texas favorite foods. So, it's raw oysters at one place for appetizers, followed by my favorite BBQ at a different place. All I need to balance that out is a dozen tamales from the "tamale lady" in town.

And good beer. Lots and lots of good beer. Life is good. :mug:

Maybe I can get Bob to take a cellphone picture and I can text it to you, so you can be jealous of all the fresh oysters I'm going to suck down! I'd bring you some, but I think they wouldn't stay fresh long enough for the long ride home.
