My sons friend is getting me several 5 gal buckets from the fast food restaurant where he works. I want to use these for several things around the brewery. From grain storage to a star san bucket.
I am assuming the original use will be pickles.
My question is this... What can I use to kill the pickle (yeast?) and/or smell? Do you think a bleach soak will do it?
