My wife came back from the dollar store with Holloween decorations.
I saw tap handles. :cross:

can't beat that for a dollar. . .
Well, actually two, a dollar a piece. :cross:

At first I thought they were solid plastic and all it would take was drilling and tapping. Turned out they're hollow with about an eight inch wall. Drilled a clearance hole in the bottom and used a dremel to cut a small window in the back to slip a nut into.

Have to tell the wife to keep an eye out for a Mrs and Mr Claus.
Kind of like this seasonal tap handle thing.
