First web site I have ever signed up for and posted on. :rockin: My buddy and I have made 4 beers so far, they turned out Great! 2 amber ales, one Hefe and a hopped up amber ale. I can't believe how full of flavor homebrews are! I want to make a stronger Honey hefe, IPA, would like to try a mead, would like to play with lemon zest and grapefruit zest, carefully of course. Man, I just wish I had about 6 more carboys and a few more bottles. Eventually I hope to have a beer fridge and kegs set up... that's a ways off tho... fridges and keg set ups aren't cheap, LOL!! Anyhow, HELLO ALL!! It's great to be onboard. :mug:

Welcome, sounds like you already know that best part of HB is to let your imagination run wild!

And it also saves you money!

Not.

LOL ain't that the truth! sure the cost per batch goes down but when you factor in all the toys(and you GOTTA have your toys, man!) you're back to spending $.
S'all good tho.:mug:

Welcome to the forum-there's lots of good info here and some really creative tricks of the trade, so make sure to keep in touch.

Hehehe, yeah. I NEED LOTS OF TOYS!!!! Just did a BUTTLOAD of looking at 1 tier 2 tier and 3 tier all grain systems online. Homemade pre-made, computer controlled, gravity fed, expensive and cheap systems. Right now I'm looking for a good deal on 2 coolers a false bottom, some good valves for my coolers and a manifold(man, i think that's how you spell it <--- worlds WORST speller) so i can do some all grain brewing. (yeah, it's cause I want to keep the cost down per batch.... yeah, that's it! Right guys?) And i'm sure that will keep me happy for many brewing sessions. But what i really want is 12 stainless steel ball valves, 2 good burners, 3 pin valves, a propane tank, 3 kegs, a counter current water chiller(homemade of course), a nice high temp magnetic drive pump, 2 sabco false bottoms, 3 temp gauges, 3 sight glasses, a tig welder, 6 copper t's and about 300 feet of a few different diameters of copper tubing for my own HERMS system. :rockin: Oh yeah, 2 lawnmower wheels and 2 wheels that turn(are they called casters? can't remember, hehe, but i want them... LOL!) so i can move my brewery outside. Woman don't like the smell... but enough rambling. I gotta go get some more beer in my belly. Happy brewing!!!:mug:
