Had my first Chimay

I got a bottle of the Cinq Cents, and it is good. And the more Belgian beers I try, the more I'm hoping that Belgium will adopt me one of these days.

The Belgian trippel is one of my favorite beers, and it's easy to brew. Pilsner malt and sugar for the most part. Cheers!

ditto. Belgian dubbels and trappists are definitely my favorite styles right now.

I don't suppose anyone else pronounces "Chimay" like Timmy from South Park says his name? At least that's how it sounds in my mind when I think about it, heh.

I probably like the Chimay red the best. Belgians are great. Orval, Abbaye des Rocs tripel, Westmalle dubbel, Gulden Draak... are some of my favs.

everytime i have chimay it tastes a little bit different than before.
I use to think that triple was my favorite. but now it seems to be the Red

The red is definitely my favorite on a regular basis, but sometimes the blue really hits the spot.

I used to think Red was my favorite until I tried the Magnum bottles of Chimay Blue. It is absolutely amazing stuff. It tastes nothing like Chimay Blue in the smaller bottles (and by smaller I mean both the 330ml and 750ml. The magnum bottle is 1.5l of pure deliciousness).

Don't forget Omnegang for Belgian-style ales, too. Had their Dubble for New Years' Eve; probably the best beer I had all year.

I bought a Chimay gift pack at Christmas, I wanted that glass! The beer was pretty good too It had I believe a red, blue and I think green bottle in the pack.
