I have searched high and low to find anything relating to at least a close recipe of Haandbryggeriet's "Odin's Tipple" Dark Norse Ale.
My brother in law has commissioned me to recreate this beer as it is so very hard to come across here as Shelton Brothers has a hell of a time distributing it in many states for some reason because of the tier systems. I would have to drive across several states (on a whim I might add) to obtain a bottle of it at around $13, plus $100 in gas round trip.
If anyone has any recipe that they know to be a clone of this exact beer please let me know. I know that it is made with a "proprietary" wild yeast strain and am not hung up on that. I wouldn't be surprised if it was just a partially soured (open fermented) RIS. I would just like to know the grain and hops bill and any important mashing/brewing and conditioning info that would make or break the nature of the beer to obtain a true clone.
I know it's a tough request but I know that someone here, especially the sagacious brewers on here that have earned their stripes, has to know of something.
It's not your typical RIS and many people who've tried it know that there's no other beer exactly like it. (I know that's cliche lol). But if anyone here can help it will be a really really big help.
