A fraternity brother of mine is an executive in the hops business in the Yakima Valley. I just received enough hops to choke a friggn hippo. They are various NW hops all vacuum foil packed, in 4 to 16 oz. bags. I have to ratchet strap the freezer door to close it now. Luckily IBU's are my friends.

Just thought I'd share my joy....not the hops....just the joy. :D

cascade, simcoe, magnum, amarillo, mt. hood, warrior, tomahawk

any suggestions on a good 5.5gallon IPA hop schedule? I love a good, citrusy IPA

Send me a private message with your address and I'll send 100 grams of 2006 warrior 17.1%AA..free...I can't sell you any....that would be wrong. The foil is sealed and never opened.

Maybe just send me a brew to try in exchange.

Happy brewing

off topic, and i apologize, but this thread got me to thinking what kind of hops they grew in the southern willamette valley in Oregon in the 30's. the things are all around me, at least the ones that survived the mildew/blight/whatever that killed the industry in the late 30's. don't really know how to go about knowing if i can utilize the beasties

Do you know the hops schedule for the Dogfish Head 90min IPA?

What about Stone IPA, that's my favorite IPA now. Anyone know the schedule for that?

3CPA - Chinook, cascade, columbus??? What's the schedule there?

Hey Brewiz, pick another 100g to go with the warrior....Mt. Hood, Cascade, or Chinook. I have some extra's I'll throw in...I'm feeling generous today.

One hop addition that lasts for 90 minutes, then dry hop in the primary, and secondary. A lot of hops probably almost all the hops you got for free.

Cheers
