Hello all. Just started brewing about 2 months ago. My first batch was a Bock and I missed the step calling for a simple syrup to be made and pitched the sugar directly into the fermenter before bottling.
Beer tastes alright, though some bottles foam to nothing and others are flat...
Oh well, all in learning, and my Fiancee really seems to like it as well. I am making here a Vanilla Cream Ale right now, and I don't plan on making that mistake again.
I have been lurking for a while and just finished reading through EdWort's Beer Hut post. That place looks awesome! Can't wait to meet everyone, and share some good beer!
If anyone else hangs their hat in SE Houston let me know. I still have a few bottles of flat beer left. :cross:
