Anyone care to guess what I am drinking?

Im like Red here...Im thinkin youre juicin

SmokeNbrew gets the prize!

Inspired by the movie Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, I started juicing about a month ago. I'm not drinking raw veggie juice exclusively, just for lunch.

This particular concoction is 2 carrots, 3 celery stalks, 1/2 cucumber, cabbage, spinach, and tomato. Not the best tasting beverage but a great way to get your veggies if you are not veggie fan like myself.

Since drinking the juice for lunch, I have lost 8 lbs with no other sacrifices such as cutting back on beer consumption.

Ah man, I just watched this the other day on Netflix....awesome documentary btw! Ive honestly been thinkin about doing this myself. I noticed the aussie who started it added green apples to all....but it's all really motivational! Good on you for doing this buddy! You'll have to keep us updated on your first hand account!

If you decide to do it, get you a decent juicer. I picked up a Black and Decker juicer and it was junk. Not very powerful and unable to handle anything larger than 1/8 of an apple slice.

I picked up the Breville juicer. This is actually the one used in the movie. (although not specifically mentioned).

I throw whole large apples in there sometimes and it chews them up and spits them out in liquid form. They are not as nearly fun to clean as they are to use.

Will keep yall posted as the pounds drop.

Yeah, in the past 5 years I purchased 2 black and decker appliances. First was a coffee maker about 2 years ago. Brand new and it would not turn on. Took it back, got another, worked a week.

Then there was this juicer. After using it I couldn't figure out if I should be eating the shavings or the little bit of juice that it made. Poor juicing performance.

My mums spent 15 years working for B&D. The factory closed and moved to Mexico. Since then they have been manufacturing with the cheapest **** they can get their hands on.

Ill identify with the coffee maker experience...had a built in unit. Wasnt worth the sales tax. At risk of getting off on a tangent/rant, this whole moving american manufacturing abroad has turned into the dogs dinner. I couldn't be more displeased.

Do you work from home? Or do you have the juicer at work? Or just prepare it and take it in with you for lunch?

Work from home. If you are able, it would be best to make it fresh. If not, you may be able to add some lemon and refrigerate it for a short period of time. Haven't really looked into storing juice.

They Aussie in the movie drove around the US and powered his using power inverter and a car battery. Cleaning the machine is best done immediately after using it which my present a challenge if using one at work.

I'm guessing this anyway.

Dude, if your piss looks like that you better go see the doctor. He can give you a shot that will quickly take care of that problem.

Your piss should look more golden in color - more like bud light.
