I I've just started brewing my own beer and use the Coopers PET 750ml bottles.
I'm really keen to use the Grolsh swing tops ( 450ml) bottles instead.

Will I be ok to use only 1 coopers sugar drop as opposed to 2 per PET bottle?
Anybody brewed using grolsh bottles and can help me out.

Cheers

I used to use the drops with the Grolsh bottles. Didn't have any problem with just using one. The beer always carb'd up just fine.

I moved to corn sugar this year though, and I really like the difference. It saves a bit of time in the bottling process. I put about 4-4.5 oz of priming sugar in about 1.5 cups of water and boil it for 10 minutes. While I'm bringing to a boil, and boiling, I'm sanitizing the bottles. Add the priming solution to the bucket, then rack my beer to the bottling bucket. Racking mixes everything very well... At that point I'm ready to bottle and I don't have to put the drops in any of the bottles. It's much cheaper as well.

Nice thing about the drops though... I plan to start kegging again. I share my beer with several people so I'm going to bottle 6 to 12 of each beer, then rack the rest to keg.
