Grolsch Style in dishwasher?

I'm thinking the heat probably isn't a good idea personally. I'd remove them beforehand. I use Grolsch style bottles for storing my saved yeast, but haven't replaced the seals yet with no problems. Do know my HBS sells them though for when I do have an issue...

I suggest taking off the wire stopper holders before the dishwasher, so's you don't wind up grinding a few in the spray arm. Also if the bottles are new, the stopper gaskets should have no cracks and perhaps a small blue stripe on the edge of the washer. If there are any doubts, replace them. I can get a hundred of the little devils for about 10 bux. The peace of mind is worth it.
BTW, remember how the wire things come off. I swear it's a Rubik's cube trying to get them on right.:mug:

I figured I'd post what I ended up doing. I ended up just removing the rubber gaskets (they were new looking or no need to replace) before I put the bottles in the dishwasher, butleft the wire stoppers on probably b/c I'm either a tad lazy or figured I wouldn't have the patience to put them back on. Anyway, everything came out looking fine. The beer is bottled, I guess I'll repost if something doesn't turn out, but it looks good as of now.
