Well ****, I guess it had to ****ing happen sooner or later. Popped the cobra tap on the gas post on a corny tonight. That ****er is stuck but good. God dammit. How the **** am I going to get this bitch off? ****er.

Pin locks FTW!!!!!!

Have to be a sufficiently talented fool to screw it up with pin locks...

<--- shutting up now....

Good luck buddy! I've done it once- just got the keg, rebuilt it- and go figure the in/out labels are worn down, the post took 11/16 instead of 7/8 socket, and the post wasn't notched. DOH! Took a little muscle but actually popped off in about a minute of cursing...

Prying carefully with a nail puller while holding the locking ring up worked for me. I use colored o-rings for the gas plugs and black for beer these days.

I once thought it would be cool to hook up the gas to the dip tube and bubble the CO2 through the beer to help it carb. It was not cool.

Haven't been down in the basement to face my nemesis yet, but I'm going to give it hell later today with much cursing. I have a feeling I'm going to have order another BL cobra tap. :drunk:

You know what might give you that extra burst of strength to get that out?

LSD :fro:

Popped the little ****er off with a well-constructed string of obscenities; I will not being doing that again, ever.
