How do all,

Name's Mike, hail from God's Country in good ol' Big Wonderful Wyomin'!

I've been a brewin for goin' on three years now. Started with a Munton's Wheat Hopped kit (what was to be a 6 gal batch erroneously read 'n brewed as a 4 gal batch!!) was a big hit mit me bro and cronies!!! did a couple more pre-hopped then gradiated to kit beers with a smattering of general recipes. Recently I moved up to all-grain brewing, as long as weather permits (got's to run a hose for the chiller approx. 75 feet to the garage and right now, temps -10 nights, 20's days) and love it!!

Beauty of brewing muh own is I control the input (good....or bad (which generally isn't all that controlled) and gets to enjoy some of the best gol' darn brew this side of anywhere!! Cain't go back to them thar "light" brews, etc....

For me, it's the "magic" of mixin' different malts, hops, water combos 'n other things to come up with brews not found in local stores. I'm one who likes to think outside the "bottle". :)

cheers to all!!

Mike, alias "Numbers"

Sounds like you have a good start going.
Running 75 feet of hose out there in the winter makes for very cold water in your chiller, but it's got to be a pain in the butt trying to keep it from getting solid!
I'm glad we don't have the cold that you guys get back east.

The only thing I know about Wyoming is horror stories about the cold that a guy who use to live there would tell me, and that Chris Ledoux was from there.
