Hi there,

First discovered this place years ago when I saw a recipe for JOAM.

Then this summer was walking through a Bed, Bath and Beyond and they had a Brooklyn Brew Shop Cider Kit, Capper and Bottles on clearance for a price I was willing to pay and the journey started.

Couple of batches of cider, one batch of JOAM in the fermenter, and a enabler of a girlfriend and my first batch of beer just hit the fermenter yesterday - a batch of Orfy's Mild Mannered Ale done BIAB style.

This place is such a source of information and hopefully I'll be able to contribute back at some point.

While I can see it is similar work to do a larger batch, I'd rather do small ones and drink more different types of beer.
