Welcome. I am new here as well, but since I saw Alabama had to ask which is it Alabama or Auburn.

Well bru-er... Alabama or Auburn?

I was waiting for the question.

I am one of the few that has ties to Alabama that only instigates. If you are a die hard Auburn fan - then Roll Tide, and if you enjoy Alabama then Auburn it is. :)

I never really liked/disliked either, but it is fun to see each side argue the best.

Is there a LHBS in Alabama?

There is Alabrew.com located in Birmingham
A trading post in Cullman (45 mins north of Bham) I don't know the name of it
There's a shop in Mobile, check out freethehops.org they'll be able to help you with names and more.

Longrider grain and supply in Florence, AL carry wine and beer making equipment. Some ingredients. It's great to have a place just minutes from me. I had to run out bright and early this morning to get blow off tubing for my cooper's stout. Didn't heed Yuri's advice to start with one. I learned!:D
