Cheers everyone.

Well brewing for myself has been a long awaited and highly overdue thing Ive been wanting to start. A good friend did rather well for himself with it, and ive been hooked ever since. But now its time for me to start up on my own.

The wife and I decided to go ahead and start researching/reading/preparing now so as soon as our baby is born we are going to give it a shot. We've decided that well, we're going to spend the money eventually so might as well start off with a good starter kit.

question about this though. for my first batch, would it be easier to start off with botttles or a smal keg?

Anyways, we are looking forward to getting to know you all, and sharing our success stories (hopefully) with you.

Welcome aboard Jim! Best wishes to you and your wife with the baby when it arrives!
Bottles are easier to deal with at first.

Welcome aboard, Jim! If the cost of a keg setup doesn't scare you off, I'd highly encourage you to go that route.
