Hello, my name is Krist0ph. I guess I would like to start with how I got addicted to this hobby
I've always loved unique beers and decided I needed to get a hobby so I downloaded one of Sam Calagione's (Dogfish Head Brewery) books called "Extreme Brewing". I read it and got hooked halfway through the book. I've read 3 other books on homebrewing since then! LOL
I bought a rather large brewing kit from MidWest supplies and brewed a batch of IPA to start
I'm at the 2 week mark of fermenting and plan and doing some consecutive hydrometer readings within the next few days to ensure fermentation is done. I'm so excited! I hope it turns out to be a great beer! If not I'll be posting questions for you pros to help me
