Howdy -
I'm brand new to the home brewing scene. I had been thinking about trying this for a while, and a friend at work recently convinced me to give it a try. My wife is also pretty excited about it. About 2 months ago we bought the basic gear from a local shop and brewed some Brewer's Best American Amber - it came out great, just a little too hoppy for my wife. We have some Brewer's Best Summer Ale in the primary right now, hopefully she'll like that better.
When searching this forum for some info on making some wine, I came across the GIANT thread about EdWort's Apfelwein, so guess what we're doing this week?
