Hi,
I've been lurking around here for quite a while and decided to sign up. I grew up helping my dad make grape wine. I got back into wine making 5 or 6 years ago when I came across a dandelion recipe.
We make everything from scratch, with fresh fruits that are in season. We've made peach, pear, grape, dandelion and I just put my first batch of rhubarb under the airlock.
I've never taken SG readings or used chemicals in my winemaking but my nephew's been after me to start.... that's what lead me here.
I've had a few complete disasters but usually what comes out of the bottle is drinkable, somtimes it's more enjoyable than others.
I look forward to learning some new (to me) techniques from you guys.
Tim
