I started homebrewing 14 years ago, but took the last couple years off. I started back up again due to building a pub in one of my outbuildings--gotta have beer for a pub :D

The brew area I put together is in a covered patio area with sliding glass doors, so most of the year it is possible to brew and ferment in the same place. It has heat but not cooling, so two or three months out of the year won't work, but I'm okay with that. The setup is based on a 10 gallon setup from Morebeer.com with quite a few upgrades, and works really, really well. All in all, I am suuuper stoked that my wife let me set this system up. If you wanna see some pics, check out http://cheeseaday.blogspot.com/2010/04/first-brew-day-success.html . It isn't done yet (should actually have the first beer on tomorrow), but you can see the basics.

Oh, and I have ten gallons of Newcastle and ten gallons of a very nice IPA almost ready to keg. Hellz. Yeah. :D

Welcome, some excellent beers to had down your way. Especially if you're a hophead. I'm working on enclosing my spa area, making it a sunroom/green house. I figure the spa will help warm it in the winter.

Welcom to HBT!
So, is this pub of yours going to open to any of us friendly, beer loving, willing to drive a bit for good beer, fellow Oregonian HBTers? :D

Welcome Coburg! We're up in Corvallis. Do you guys have a decent LHBS down there or do you have to go to Eugene?

Cheers,
Ben
