I don't think I posted here when I joined many years ago.

In 2008 I started with a Mr Beer kit and made some decent (=drinkable) beers.

In 2012 I upgraded to a "real" brewing kit. Part of the reason was I melted the Mr Beer keg the last time I used it. Different story for a different day.

I have brewed about 6 times already using new kit.

First was a Belgian Wheat. Half the bottles came up flat.
Second was an american red ale (brewers best kit). This turned out really really well (everyone which had it was impressed).
Third is a Hefeweizen, it should be drinkable in next 5-10 days.
Fourth is the same Belgian wheat as before. I messed up bottling this, so we shall see if its drinkable in 2 weeks.
I have a blue moon clone in my secondary now.
I have a dunkel in my fermenter now.
