Hi guys.
I'll probably be posting here a lot so I thought I'd introduce myself.
Long story short over the past year or so my GF and I have gotten into craft/micro brews like crazy. We've done a few tours of breweries and and can frequently be found at small brewpubs on the weekends.
Anyway my GF surprised me with Midwest's Intermediate Homebrewing kit a couple weeks ago.
Considering how much I love tinkering/building things I'm honestly surprised I didn't get into this sooner.
This is seriously the perfect hobby for me.
My first brew was a Big Ben Pale Ale, which is currently in my secondary (which I made about a week ago).
My second is an Octane IPA which I put into my primary on Saturday.
I've got a another primary and another secondary on their way right not from MS along with Hop Head Double IPA and an Irish Red recipes.
Honestly I wanna always have at least 2-4 beers going at any given time. I could easily see myself brewing every weekend.
I'm 25, and I live in the Chicago burbs.
I play guitar/sing in a band and love tinkering with my gear.
My job is in the CNC industry and I basically do engineering work/programming.
I typically frequent Two Brothers Brewpub in Warrenville & Lunar Brewing Co cuz they're both only a few minutes from my house.
So yeah, Hi!
