I brewed a Brewers Best American Pale Ale kit. 1 week in Primary until I hit my gravity, 1 week in secondary and only 3 days so far in the bottle. It has a bit of carbonation and it's cloudy, but damned if my first brew doesn't taste too bad. It can only go up from here right!?

I have a red ale in secondary and a brown ale in primary. I have the itch and scratching it feels good!

Nothing is more fun than drinking your first brew. Don't just save some for three weeks, save a few for a couple months and try them. They get better over time. Oh, and brew lots more beer so saving them for later isn't so hard. :mug:

EVERY batch I brew gets a 6 pack stashed in the basement...with special labels, and will not be touched for minimum of 6 months...likely a year. Would be cool to have a 6 pack every other weekend that was celebrating its' birthday wouldn't it?

Unless it sucks like mine did!:p In which case your later efforts will taste much better.

Al

My bank account hasn't been very happy since my first brew :)

Congrats on your first.

hey! stop drinking that!

brew another batch and let those sit a few weeks before cracking open any more. you'll kick yourself when the last bottle tastes like heaven and you don't have any more left.
