I have been brewing using the grainfather corrected version of Beersmith2 for recipe creation and it always seems that I am about a half gallon short of my 6.08 gallons preboil. I am wondering what parameter to change in the equipment setup profile to make this come up with the correct amount of sparge water? I could always adjust the preboil volume to 6.58 and hope that works . Any input would be appreciated. TIA,,,,, Floyd

Maybe your grain absorption % is higher causing your mash to be short, or you could just add 1/2 gallon more water to sparge with
