grain life???

I cracked some grain 2 weeks ago and never got the chance to brew...Was wondering how long it will last, and do certain types last longer than others??? Thanks for the help.

According to http://www.northcountrymalt.com/pages.php?pageid=16&mode=preview, milled grain should last for about 3 months if stored in a cool (< 64 degrees) dry place.
