So the weather finally warmed up here in Kansas and I got to finally try out my new banjo burner today with a NB Chinook IPA. I was so excited about how fast the water came to a boil I spaced out and forgot to steep the specialty grains. After I realized this I pulled the kettle off and cooled it below 170 degrees and steeped the grains. I then brought it back up to a boil and add the DME I forgot and then finished out the boil as normal.
Will this turn out alright? Is it even worth fermenting?
