Good excuse for the wife for making stir plate

I only have about $20 in this stir plate but I still used this as an excuse.

Yours looks a little more refined than mine. I used a cigar box - free, computer fan - free, magnets from a hard drive - free, a power supply from an old answering machine - free, a rheostat and knob from Radio Shack and screws from Walmart - total cost $4.75 I may buy a vinyl tile for the top.
