i guess it depends on what you are looking for. I can usually find full sized fridges for that price, which would allow multiple fermenters to be put into it at once time (the fridge I use cost me $75 and I can put three carboys in it).

But... my fridge is ugly and not a pretty glass box.

Problem is that if you use clear carboys you'll need to keep light out of there. I have a tinted-glass front former wine fridge, I need to see how well the glass stops UV.
