Hello all,
I have been brewing since 2002 and jumped right into all grain. My first system was a three tier gas fired gravity system built from pony kegs. I have since upgraded to 15 gal SS Megapots on a rollable three tier tower. I have stood on the sidelines watching eBrew and have been pretty fascinated but not really willing to invest more..........until now. I self installed a 6kw solar system on my house a few years back. As propane has become more expensive and not exactly always easy to get (I live in a small mountain town) I have decided to make the jump to a RIMS system. My basic design is this (any and all advice/critique appreciated) I want to make my system run on a 30amp GFCI breaker. I plan on having BK run on 240v 5500w ULWD element, RIMS will have 240v 5500w ULWD element running on 110v. HLT will also have 240v 5500w ULWD element running on 110v. I plan to use two bilchmann riptide pumps.
Thoughts?
