Current setup is the kegs / brewing center in the basement "man cave" area.
I just installed a tap tower in the upstairs kitchen. I have a very large copper cold plate with copper tubing routed throught it, kind of like a mega jockey box (holds about a 1 liter).
Any issues with having warm beer in keg in basement, routed through 50 feet of hose then going through the coldplate in the kictchen?
Has anyone tried using a thermo electric cooler and a cold plate?
Think i'll have wierd carbonation / foaming issues going from 60-65F to 40-45F?
What should i run the C02 pressure at?
I have two 120 WATT peltiers / TEC's hooked up @12Volts, the cold plate is running at about 26-28F in a 75F enviroment. I can always un-insulate / lower voltage / lower hot side fan speed to raise temps.
I think most beer will freeze around 28F, so hopefully i should be in good shape?
Hopefully i wont be pouring carbonated slushies....
