I have tried the LakeFront Brewery's New Grist and RUN FOR YOUR LIFE. This stuff is the worst beer ever made. The after taste on this makes cough syrup have a smooth after taste.

I'll second this. Was very drunk and still couldn't get it down. Nice they are looing out for the anti gluten folks though...

FWIW I went on the tour and had most of the other Lakefront brews and they were fine. Maybe it will take a few rounds to get the sorchum recipe up to par?

they do have one of the funnest tours I have been on.

Ahem...Bump.

I'm drinking a Lakefront New Grist as I type this. I think its surprisingly beer-like. think the recipe has been updated or something??

I bought it as a commercial example to compare the GF homebrew I've been commissioned to make for a friend of SWMBO.

Theres an odd sweetness and a slight metallic twang but I actually think it isn't too bad...then again, I'm a little drunk from the Russian River BGSA I was sampling in preparation for the 10.10.10 swap!

:off:
Anybody else notice most gluten intolerants are girls? Man up, Sally!

Yeah its not true and I didn't mean to actually suggest that one could "man up" to a gluten intolerancem its definitely serious stuff.
