has anyone used GlobalMalt Kolsch Malt? im assuming its very similar to pilsner but just curious.

"4.5° L. From a maltster co-op based in Osthofen, near Köln, this malt is used by some of the brewpubs in that city to make their trademark ale. Kölsch malt has a light, sweet and extremely "German" flavor and aroma with a little bit of biscuit character."

I used it as the sole malt in a small Table Sour.
6.5# of it and 1oz of Saaz, and I stepped up dregs from a bottle of Drie Fonteinen.
The weird thing is, I think it's too dark to use to make a Kolsch. After the boil, I'm putting it near 7-8 SRM. Most folks say the flavor is between a Vienna and a Munich.
