Gigayeast -Sour Saison GB124

Has anyone tried using gigayeast saison sour GB124? If you have used it what was your experience? I am looking at brewing a sour saison using this yeast strain.

I want to try gigayeast but can't find anything other than IPA or ale type yeast. Have they slowed down production.

Try the Wine and Hop Shop in Madison, WI. They offer shipping. Id just call ahead of time and ask what the manufacture date is on the yeast. I talked with gigayeast and they said if its 1 to 2 months old you do not need a starter. if its 3 to 6 months then make a starter. And if its older than 6 months then do not use it. I made a 1L starter with the sour cherry funk i received from that shop since the yeast was months old and the beer was fermenting within 12 hours.
