Here's one that I'm sure plenty of people will be able to chime in on... When going after a new apartment (or rental property), how should I pose the question so that I know my propane burners won't be a violation that will get me kicked out? I'm thinking that if they allow propane/gas grills, that these shouldn't be an issue. Especially on a concrete slab. If there's a deck, I would get one of the concrete grilling mats to place under the burner, even though it never gets hot enough at floor level (this is a Blichmann burner on the longer legs).
I'm looking at a few places today, as well as more on Friday (I'll be in Maine all of Thursday at the VMUG Summer Slam event :rockin:, then driving back to MA on Friday) and over the weekend. My intent is to sign papers on a new place before the weekend is out, and start moving in in August. That way it will be an easier move for me. I will use movers for the big items, but the rest will be me and friends. Including my brewing supplies, like the few hundred pounds of barley at my buddy's place.
Thoughts? Suggestions??
