So I'm thinking about brewing up a pale ale with some American style German hops I just got. I guess what I'll call a GPA, Germerican Pale Ale? 11 gallon batch split between two buckets.
OG: 1.056 | FG: 1.014 | IBU: 43 | SRM: 8
Ingredients
Grain
-18lb Belgian 2-Row (75%)
-5lb Munich Malt (20%)
-1lb Cara 45 (4%)
Hops
-1oz German Magnum hops @ FWH
-1oz Bavaria Mandarina hops @ 20 mins
-1oz Huell Melon hops @ 20 mins
-1oz Huell Melon hops @ 10 mins
-1oz German Cascades hops @ 10 mins
-1oz Bavaria Mandarina hops @ 0 mins
-1oz German Cascades hops @ 0 mins
Yeast
-1pkg WL029 per bucket with starter
Dry hop each bucket with 1oz German Cascades hops for 5 days after fermentation complete.
