Senate Bill 63 is making its way through the state house. It will allow direct on premise to take home sales of beer to the public from brew houses. Apparently you can do this with wine, but our state has laws to protect us from beer.
There is a ton of opposition from liquor distribution folks. If we like a local craft brew, the brewery cannot sell it to us during a tour or whatever. We have to find a liquor store that buys it from a distributor. If the distributor doesn't carry it, you are out of luck.
Please let our great state know how much we would like the freedom back to purchase a brew we enjoy, when we want to. It's one more restrictive alcohol law that needs to go.

Thanks,
Jason
