This may sounds crazy and I haven't had a chance to look up all the ingredients in gatorade but could you not use gatorade as a base instead of water in a boil? I know there has to be plenty of fermentable sugars in it and it would have a lot of flavor already. Just add hops! maybe a lil more LME? I was just curious as to what ya'll think lol? Cheers.
 
Yes, called sodium benzoate....usually called a perservative when put in food.

FYI to OP: Yeast is a fungus; so hopefully you can see where rockfish is going here....

Some flavors also have monopotassium phosphate as well
 
If only to be able to turn to others and say, "You've got to taste how gross this is", I'd be interested to try this.

But yes, sounds rather repulsive.
