I plan on getting into all-grain brewing soon and bought a Backyard Classic Lobster combo propane burner and 10 gallon pot, model #997. Is this good for homebrewing? It has a 10 psi adjustable regulator if that means anything.

Well first a propane burner is about the best method I know to brew with. The main problem with turkey fryers is they put out too much heat. Once you get them going I generally turn down to very low. As such a 10PSI regulator is fine.

If the burner you have is suitable depends on how you do your sparging. I do batch sparging with a 10 gallon cooler and false bottom. While this may not be the most efficient it works.

So about the only thing I would say you need is a malting tun (that would be the cooler) and a grain mill.
