Fusti Tank as Kettle

I have seen these fusti tanks for sale as fermentors lately. Has anyone tried adding a ball valve and using them as kettles? Is the stainless robust enough for this use? The one in the link has a rubber pad on the bottom but I'm assuming that could be removed.

No experience, but i work in a brewery and we've actually been looking for something like this for some sours. I'd say go for it and See if you can find the specs on it. If its rated for pressure throw a pressure gauge on there, beef up the seal and use it to pressurize/clarify.

This is so funny in my mind this thread could be blended with the "things a homebrewer thinks" thread. I walked into a shop that sells olive oil and they had a ton of these containers and I made it a point to ask the owner where they got the containers because all I could think about was turning one into a kettle. I never tried it but I hope someone has!
