I was wondering does anyone have experience using one of these burners? A friend gave it to me and he had never used one like this but its probably 15 yrs old. I emailed King Kooker who appears to be the company selling these Even though their name is not on the label, its manufactured by Metal Fusion Inc most of which are sold by King.

They told me I had a complete burner so I tested it and it fires a strong blue cone shaped flame. If you look closely at the second pic...kind of hard to see...but there is a sort of nut that has a hole and the end of the gas connect tube which is what produces the flame. No diffuser...certainly nothing like a banjo burner or some of the more popular ones used for brewing.

Somehow i get the feeling this will not be too efficient and i'll burn through (literally) lots of propane.

Any experience with it?
