I'm new to brewing made my second batch this Sunday n decided to experiment a little so I added cinnamon sticks and ginger root to it during first fermentation now I'm thinking of trying apples with the second fermentation anyone try anything similar!?

Blueberries, blackberries, and even raspberries. My buddy just tapped a milk stout w/ raspberries @ his brewery for his newborn son. I thought the raspberries played well.

Bell's makes a mean cherry stout. And I'll second the blueberry thing!

I did a monster RIS with blackberry puree in secondary. Turned out great! It just needed a few months of age in bottles for the flavors to come together.

Ugh bought apple today gonna give it a whirl figured it would compliment the cinnamon and ginger I will let u guys know how it turns

Should be like a Black and Tan...or whatever the stout cider combo is called...
