Hello,

Looking to make a Strawberry Centennial Blonde Ale. I'll be using approximately 5lbs of frozen strawberries. Which would be better for secondary fermentation, a 5 gallon or 6 gallon better bottle? I plan on using a blow off tube either way.

Thanks
Nick

You won't be able to fit 5 gallons of beer and 5 lbs of strawberries in a 5 gallon carboy. I'd go 6. The strawberries will ferment anyway, producing CO2, so headspace shouldn't be an issue.
