Do i need a fruit press to make fruit / cider beers. my parents are having a garage sale and have one they want to get rid of. Should I get it before it is sold???

When I did a raspberry beer, I froze the berries then pasteurized them in a little hot water. They were mush. Now, if you want to make cider or perry or whatever from from-picked fruit, the press might be useful, but for typical *beer* applications you don't need to press the fruit.
