Don't ask how I know this. I brewed a 5 gallon batch today and everything went smoothly into the ss brewtech buckets and I see a small pool of sweet wort under the bucket! God damn it didn't I tighten the drain port? Great i get to wash my arms then dunk into the bucket of star san wait a minute a plunge my arm into the bucket!

I moved the bucket and put a fresh towel underneath to see if the drips have subsided.....fingers crossed!

Check all the fittings!

been there, done that, and yup it sucks to have to dunk your arms but hey at least you caught it right away

Add me to the list of been there, done that. Two pieces of advice I can offer are:
1) Any time you put together something that will contain liquid, do a leak test with water somewhere that is easy to clean up. This saved me numerous headaches when first assembling my pump fittings. Turned out there was a casting defect that left a pinhole leak in the pump head casing. Took me two hours to figure out and would have ruined a brew day.
2) Put together a brew day checklist and somewhere near the top should be "Close all valves and insert dip tubes." I also have Brew Buckets and have forgotten to insert dip tubes twice now.
