Freezer Fermenter

Tomorrow I'm going to go look at a chest freezer to convert into a fermentation chamber. Outside of look at size - what else should I be looking for, if anything?

I'm bringing templates with me the size of buckets and bottles to see what I can fit into it.

Be sure to ask them to have it plugged in for several hours before your arrival. I bought one that didn't chill because I didn't verify that it would cool.

make sure it works.

also if you plan on wiring in a love temp controller or anything like that, the older fridge/freezers seem to be a little easier to use.
