Does anyone have any thoughts ideas or reccomendations on how to force carbonate a Guinness clone and also at what psi should the regulator be for serving? I store my keg in a back hallway that averages around 50 degrees Farenheit. thanx for any feedback

There are a few caluclators online that will tell you the psi you'll need. Here is one.

My Brew Collection - Brew Tools (Force Carbonation Calculator)

It says the desired carbonation level for a dry stout is 1.6-2.0.

I used 1.8 at your 50 F and it gave me the psi of 8.7. Let it sit at this psi for a little while.

For the serving psi it depends on the length of your beer hose. I usually serve mine at 10-12 psi.

Here is a beer line lenght a pressure calculator link
