Yeah, I cut up my hand pretty good the other day working on a project....I was reluctant to go into the ER because I HATE ERS...but was pretty sure I needed to when I started losing feeling in the finger. Well, all the wanna-be doctors in chat told me to stick it out. HMMMM.

Holy sh!t, Dude, that sucks! I would've told you to go in to the ER, as I have some experience with finger injuries and friends telling you it's okay. Sliced my index finger wide open two summers ago when a bottle of hot Miller Lite exploded while I was stocking beer at work (f*cking BMC!). My friend and co-worker said it was fine, but then when another coworker and her paramedic friend saw it, they said "Get to the ER now!" Glad I listened. It required stitches and I was unable to use my hand for a week and half. Again, really sorry!

Loosing your pinkie isn't all that bad. You can come up with some cool stories to tell people.

I had a dentist without a pinkie. When he put the gloves on he had to stuff the pinkie finger glove part back into the hand so it wouldn't dangle in the patients face. He lost it in a water skiing accident...ouch...
