Good afternoon.
I have three, 12v topsflo pumps. They work great but I guess I didn't rinse them out completely. I left some citric acid inside the pumps and it ate the protective finish off of the sintered iron rotor. I cleaned the rest off and I would like to seal them again.
I am wondering if anyone knows of a food safe spray coating that will withstand up to boiling wort/water?
I had an idea of using finger cots (think condom for your fingers) and food grade silicon in place.
Any suggestions?
