I have read through a lot of the is my first batch ruined threads and i have already learned to not worry ;) but i was wondering why on my first batch i just did last week has a green ring of foam on the side of my glass fermenter about a inch above the beer.

I am thinking it is the hops that is left on the glass from once the foaming settled down after the first two days but im not really sure.

so what do you guys think it could be and if it is bad or not?
