Hey all...
I'm from Delaware and have wanted to start brewing beer since a year or so before Sam opened DFH Brewing & Eats in Rehoboth Beach. Almost two decades later, I finally dropped into the LHBS on a whim, bought the standard starter equipment, some books and a few recipes.
6 months later, I'm on batch 17 or 18 now... upgraded a bunch of the equipment, tweaked and built extract recipes as i learned more, built a keezer, a fermentation chamber and am looking forward to switching to all grain in the next few months.
As a programmer by day, I love the logic and science behind it all. I've always loved a good beer - it's great to be able to say "I made this" as I pass a cup/glass/bottle/growler to a friend or neighbor.
Thanks for such a great resource here.
Ryan
